Samsung launched the Galaxy M30s in September last year at a starting price of Rs 13,999. The company is now gearing up for the launch of yet another smartphone of the M series — Galaxy M31. The company has confirmed that the smartphone will debut in India on 25 February at 12 pm.

The upcoming smartphone is teased on the company’s website and on Amazon. As per the teaser, Galaxy M31 will feature a 64 MP quad-camera setup at the back. Just like we saw on the Galaxy A51, Galaxy Note10 Lite and Galaxy S10 Lite. Galaxy M31 will also sport a rectangular camera module at the back.

The teaser further reveals that the smartphone will have sAMOLED infinity U display and it will come with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The highlight of the smartphone is its battery with 6,000 mAh capacity. Galaxy M31 will come in a blue colour option.

As per a report by 91Mobiles, Samsung Galaxy M31 might come in two RAM and storage variants — 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage variant and 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage. The phone might be powered by the Exynos 9611 chipset.

iOS Copy-Paste Data Vulnerable to Snooping by Other Apps: Researchers

When it comes to data privacy and security, Apple has rarely shied away from taking credit for its encryption and security. Even in the tech industry, analysts have time to time lauded the company for its relatively secure operating system when compared to its immediate competitors. But now an alleged flaw in its ecosystem, exposed by two researchers, may allow personal data in Apple’s iPad and iPhone devices to be intercepted. According to Talal Haj Bakry and Tommy Mysk, when a user copies any miscellaneous data, it gets stored on Apple’s general pasteboard (commonly known as clipboard). This data temporarily stored to the device’s memory can be accessed by all apps, thereby, risks revealing private information such as a user’s GPS coordinates, passwords and banking details. “iOS and iPad operating system apps have unrestricted access to the system-wide general pasteboard,” the duo noted in a post published on Monday.
