How to play YouTube videos on loop | Gadgets Now

Usually, people don’t play YouTube videos on loop, but there are some videos that we want to listen to or watch again and again on repeat. It could be either your favourite song or ambience music, instrumental song or anything else. Well, most of the audio players or online streaming music apps allow users to choose the repeat mode between repeat one song or repeat the entire playlist. YouTube, by default, does not have this feature. But, it is still easier to keep a video playing in the loop than you are thinking.

That being said, playing a YouTube video on a loop in the browser is just a matter of just a few clicks, but it is a little complicated on the mobile app, but it is certainly possible. So, let’s see how to do it in our step-by-step guide.

Steps to play YouTube video on loop in browser

1.

Open YouTube website on any browser and choose a video you want to watch on a loop

2.

Once the video starts playing right-click on the video screen and selects the option ‘Loop’


Steps to play YouTube video on loop in mobile app
YouTube mobile app does not have any as such a built-in loop feature and here we will use a small workaround to play the video on loop.

1.

Open YouTube app on your smartphone and choose a video you want to play on loop

2.

Now, tap on the ‘+’ icon from the top right corner of the playback screen and choose New Playlist option

3.

Enter the playlist name and set the privacy setting and tap on Create icon

4.

To listen to the song tap on the Library icon from the bottom right, choose the playlist and play the video

5.

Once the video starts playing, tap on the down arrow and select the repeat icon

When it comes to data privacy and security, Apple has rarely shied away from taking credit for its encryption and security.
