Dragon Ball Z Kakarot: It’s great fun, but will only interest fans

With Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, publisher Bandai Namco is trying to take advantage of the anime’s popularity. The game covers the Z-saga part of that story. While most of the fun is in the game’s arcade-style fighting element, there’s a role playing part as well.

But while Kakarot excels in some ways, it may not be a game worth buying for anyone who’s not a Dragon Ball fan. For instance, as fans of the manga and the anime, we found ourselves enjoying powering up, flying at breakneck speeds, throwing energy balls, fighting other worldly enemies and so on. However, the role playing game (RPG) aspect of this game, where you have to roam across a pretty vast world to hunt, cook and eat food, fish, gather items and more, can be quite boring.

As mentioned before, the real fun is in the one-on-one or team battles. Kakarot makes you feel like you’re a real superhuman fighter. Even though you’re just mashing on buttons, your character disappears in between kicks and punches, super moves look like they really hurt and so on. The fighting mechanic actually reminds us of the Naruto Shippuden games.

But things are sometimes too easy and even boring. The game doesn’t really require you to explore its RPG elements though. You can stick to the story missions without falling short of experience points or consumable items. Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is an almost exact reproduction of the anime. It cuts the boring parts of the anime and tries to present the bare essentials. It’s meant for fans .

iOS Copy-Paste Data Vulnerable to Snooping by Other Apps: Researchers

When it comes to data privacy and security, Apple has rarely shied away from taking credit for its encryption and security. Even in the tech industry, analysts have time to time lauded the company for its relatively secure operating system when compared to its immediate competitors. But now an alleged flaw in its ecosystem, exposed by two researchers, may allow personal data in Apple’s iPad and iPhone devices to be intercepted. According to Talal Haj Bakry and Tommy Mysk, when a user copies any miscellaneous data, it gets stored on Apple’s general pasteboard (commonly known as clipboard). This data temporarily stored to the device’s memory can be accessed by all apps, thereby, risks revealing private information such as a user’s GPS coordinates, passwords and banking details. “iOS and iPad operating system apps have unrestricted access to the system-wide general pasteboard,” the duo noted in a post published on Monday. They added saying, “A user may unwittingly expose their precise ...
